Swamp people and spelling

Okay all, so as you may have noticed my spelling is seriously lacking. My kind mother emailed me corrections after I emailed her the link to my blog, she may have been a bit distraught. I am just going to go on record and say yes, I have a newly awarded college degree and yes I know spell check exists I just can not type. My long sausage like fingers and tiny keys on my computer and iPhone make reading my texts a bit of a puzzle game at times, my friends love it. I even took typing classes in elementary school... Clearly they have served little purpose. I will do my best to not drive all my teachers insane and grammar nerds, but I make no promises and mother, thank you.

Onto the exciting stuff. This weekend, myself and some very Cajun swamp people battled the traffic and trekked to Baton Rouge. For those of you who have seen swamp people Troy Landry came to the bass pro here this weekend and many many people came to see him. He refers to himself as the John Wayne of the swamp and loves doing the alligator shuffle. If you haven't seen swamp people watch it on hulu...it's quite amusing and yes it's real, those Cajuns are crazy. Some of em live right outside of Baton Rouge near the aunt n uncle. I didn't make it to bass pro I was too busy playing on inflatable obstacles jump things, slides and immersing myself in disney-pixar palooza for Devin's (turning 4) bday. I had probably the best bday cake from a bakery named Gambinos and discovered cheeseburger dip... Delicious not healthy.

Leftover Gambino's cake...party theme was Cars
.

I also have an unhealthy obsession with sweets particularly, smores since its summer. Anywho, I saw a recipe of smores cookies on a blog and thought...must make immediately. Well the recipie required homemade cookie dough and I took the easy way out and use premade dough...Still tasted delicious and I made some more last night. Its real easy all you do is add marshmellows.

Before the baking add some mellows.

They make not be pretty, but they are delicious.

Devin got a black eye playing, me being the wonderful influence I am, trained him to say that daddy gave it to him. He told everyone it was grandpa.

love this. think I could use it.

On my drive over someone had a sign on their car that said "fo sale" now, I would never pull a spelling stunt like that, mom.

And remember,
Rachel found these and we decided that a purchase was in order, only $8.

Stay fabulous!!!
