Vacation

New craft I want to try. jars and lace and doily's paper-mached over them. My new project

Blackberry Margaritas two of my favorite things tequila and berries!

Wellllllll, vacation is over much to my dismay. I had an amazing time with my friends in Colorado. We managed to hike alot, stare at the montains, go to Garden of the Gods, discover a cult and eat/drink at their coffee shop, and to go out and dance our butts of to some Country music. I think we ate way to much but the altitude and lots of stairs and moving definitely made up for that.

Winter Weekend

Below are some pictures i took this weekend with Zach. It started snowing...and with the mild weather we have been having I figure better strike while the iron was hot. They are far from professional but I love playing with my camera, and he was a great sport about modeling for me.

Clearly, I think I am more artistic than I actually am but that's okay.

Also are some great finds I scored over the weekend while shopping...
It was time to get some new foundation and I hate the cakey heavy weight of most liquid make-up. I love love love the brand philosophy, their perfumes and soaps are amazing so I decided to give this one a whirl
ulta $36

The J. Crew finds will have to follow...factory website is closed and no pics are available.
what are everyone's plans for Valentine's Day?
Ill share mine tomorrow.
Until Then!

Weekend update

Well I spent most of my weekend doing what I do best... Eating, baking aka making a mess in a kitchen, and shopping in no particular order. Clothes and pictures in the snow are to follow
Later this week but here are some pictures of what I worked on tonight with momma.
Zachs birthday cake...the boy loves funfetti.

Fake cupcakes.
Real cute and easy to make.

DIRECTIONS:
Take chocolate melts
Melt them
Spoon them into mini cupcake molds(with the paper liners)

Repeat after letting the first coat dry.
Remove paper wrapper.
Dip top in chocolate.
Insert whatever mini candy you want once they dry. ( we used m&ms)
Top with a meringue.
Decorate for any occasion.

I also helped Danielle and Emily make cookies which was more of an experiment than a recipe but it was a blast.

I love getting to see my friends when I come home for the weekend.

In other news it is absolutely freezing outside and there is no doubt in my mind that winter has set in. I may turn into an icesicle this week. We have to go to a range and do night fire, day fire, and gas mask fire. That will be ggrrreeaaaatt.
I did however receive a picture of me looking tough in combatives. This was the only time I wasn't being pounded.

More to follow this week.
Stay fabulous divas!

Super bowl shenanigans

So I discovered some nom nom nom food thanks to the super bowl. Aka one of my newest favorite holidays next to thanksgiving. For food related reasons. Ham, crawfish, cheeseburger dip(recipie I found of

pinterest), homemade brownies(better cooks recipe) substituted some white chocolate in there.

I am also getting som household decorations soon. I am tired of having nothing on my walls and having a plain house. Target has some adorable and reasonably priced home decor. I'm in the market for a cute lamp!

I also came to a realization this weekend. Im not coordinate. My friend has a Xbox kinect and we decided to play some dancing game a few beers made it even more hilarious.

- thought for the week

A nice spring day in January

Well today has been interesting for me. I went to combatives today, very unwillingly and got punched in the face by some amateur mma fighters. I have scratches on my face but came to discover this about myself... I am not an aggressive person...it actually makes me very uncomfortable. (don't worry I still kicked some butt) I just didn't like it. This week has been so nice weather wise and I decided to go for a run today. I am currently sitting on my porch and loving it. All I need is a lemonade and a good book.

Pretty right? Okay so I don't have the best view but I do have a recipie to share. Very easy, flavorful, and sooo delicious.
My version of nachos
This is all leftovers
-shredded chicken however Uch you want
-shredded or chopped bacon
- hint of lime tortilla chips.
-and shredded cheese

...I think you know where this is going.

Add some green peppers, onions, black olives if you want.

But spread out the chips and put bacon and chicken on every big chip then sprinkle or douse in cheese and whatever else ya want. Bake for 5 minutes at most at 350. Enjoy!

Know I know this seems to easy just try em.

May I also recommend for dessert Ben and Jerry's new flavor

Absolutely delicious. Well all I am off to shower and be a bum.
Stay fabulous!
