Last Week!

Well lets recap the week. It's been busieeee. As usual. Alot happened this week baby brother turned 21 oy ve!

Kinsey got promoted!!! And Marina had a birthday too! Woot woot!

So now were both firsties! The cake was an epic fail not centered and Christmas colors... Not okay. But the important thing is is that she got promoted! Even though it's automatic it's a big milestone and I'm so happy we got to share it!

Marina had her birthday Friday and we had a duck dynasty birthday party it was a huge success.
We had brisket, Mac and cheese, meatball, cake of course, and a ton of alcohol.

This was the leftovers!

Everyone showed up decked out in camo. We watched some duck dynasty and had a great time. Came to the realization were all getting old.

Jermey and marina chilling on the couch pre party!

Brian and Rachel were here this weekend and I got to spend a ton of time with them! They are moving up here just bought a house. Finally!!!

And marina and I. This sums up our relationship, love her to death. I know I look super cute haha.

Today called for some serious cooking and attempting to eat paleo for the week.

I love apple chips I can eat a bag in one sitting. And today I found a recipe for some!
Here's the recipe:
Set the oven to 250 degrees
-2 cups of unsweetened apple juice
-2 apples (1/8 in slices)
-cinnamon
1. Cut the apples

2. Boil the apple juice

3. Cook the apples for 4-5 minutes with some cinnamon.

4. Take them out and dry them with a cloth use a baking rack and pan once that is done.

5. Put them in the oven for 45-55 minutes or until you think they are done.
Enjoy!!!

Update!

Okay now that I have my life in order after a much needed long weekend here is an update I promised!

Last weekend, in Texas, was amazing as always. We had dinner with James parents who cooked some awesome food as always, went to the rodeo and watched a ton of walking dead! I was sick and still am so we lounged alot!

I came home to a clean car and a box of half eaten chocolates from my roommate! True love right here people.

Then back to work for a short week. Of course it was crazy busy but that's okay it was good. My momma stopped by on th way to Florida and brought me a present....Ranger! I'm so happy he's here and him and Monkey (or Monster as my mom calls him)

This weekend we did alot! It snowed...that was weird. Went to a wedding for one of our co workers which was awesome. Love any excuse to drop down and get my eagle on. As does marina.

Last night we had Italian family dinner to the max. Eggplant parm and asparugus with asiago cream sauce...yummm

Today we will seal off the weekend with Safe Haven. Unfortunately for my pride and to save face, there will be no photos or videos from me in a Zumba class...I know hearts are breaking all around the world.

Rachel comes in to town tomorrow and I am so excited oh and my baby brother turns 21 this week! And marina!!! We're having a duck dynasty party for her! War h out world!!!

Vacation

I'm pretty confident photos would make this post much better, but for some reason I can't upload any. So this will have to do for now!

Well I am in the airport and off to Texas for the rest of the week/weekend. The first week of the month is always hectic and work and I am so glad to get away for a few days. I can't wait to hang out with the man friend and his family.

We got to dog sit last week and I found a new cuddle buddy, never to replace scout and ranger. But jasmine was a good alternate. Oh and the ravens won the Super Bowl,
We've got plans to eat at the Grist mill, my favorite restaurant probably, go to the rodeo, see Eli young band play, sleep, have dinner with his parents. I mean, what could be better.
Anywho I keep trying to upload a post from earlier this week but it ain't happening.

The roomie and I had some major change in diet this week. Getting healthy!
We juiced, which is really easy, if you have a juicer.

Get some fruits and veggies. We used carrots apples and strawberries
Next set the juicer up and juice it good

Last, clean the juicer. This is a chore but we let the dishwasher mainly take care of it.

To continue with the health rant I got a foam roller this week. Best. Decision. Of the month. If you can read this pictogram do, and then go buy a roller.
